STAMPIN' GROUND Guitarist Launches Career In Producing
October 24, 2005STAMPIN' GROUND guitarist Scott Atkins has begun work with various U.K. bands as a demo producer and engineer.
"Basically I get sent about 10 demos a week from young bands and most are pretty good, but dreadfully recorded and produced," Scott said. "I want to get the standard up to that of foreign bands, and help them on the right road to achieve their goals. I was always the one in STAMPIN' GROUND who would oversee all of our recordings, and I got inspired from that. I've learnt the ropes pretty quick and the results are so far, so good."
Any bands wanting to get in touch with Scott should email [email protected] and he will hook you up some sample MP3s.
STAMPIN' GROUND's fourth album, "A New Darkness Upon Us", was released in Europe in October 2003 via Century Media Records. The follow up to 2000's "Carved From Empty Words" was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England, in July with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT, STUCK MOJO, SKINLAB, ARCH ENEMY).
